It is designed to meet the requirements of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA).

Information we collect
- Form data: information you give us when you request a demo, a migration assessment, an evaluation license, gated content or our newsletter, such as your name, work email, company, job title, country and message.
- Uploaded project files: legacy integration projects, XML flow files, deployable archives or ZIP files you share for a migration assessment.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, which our web servers and the content delivery networks we use process to deliver the site, as described in our Cookie Policy.
We don't ask for sensitive personal information, and we ask that you don't include it in messages or uploaded files.
How we use your information
- To respond to your requests, such as scheduling a demo, preparing an assessment or issuing an evaluation license. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- To send marketing, such as our newsletter and event invitations, only where you have opted in. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us.
- To operate and secure the website, including preventing spam and abuse of our forms. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe, reliable website.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping business records or responding to lawful requests from authorities.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Uploaded project files
Project files you share for a migration assessment are treated as your confidential information. They are used only to prepare your assessment, stored with access restricted to the engineers working on it, and deleted once the assessment has been delivered unless you ask us in writing to keep them for a follow-on engagement. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share files if you ask us to.
Sharing and international transfers
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email delivery and customer relationship management providers, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to a successor in a merger or acquisition.
Algomox works with customers and staff in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Retention
We keep form data for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain our business relationship, and then delete or anonymize it. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only what we need to honor your choice. Uploaded project files are deleted as described above.
Security
We protect personal information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
